March Fourth is a nonprofit advocacy group with a singular mission: to federally ban assault weapons. The organization is non-partisan, as its members are unified on the human issue of keeping Americans safe. Weapons of war simply shouldn’t be accessed by civilians. We will accomplish this mission by using our voices to drive change and by showing our leaders that it’s time to put people over politics. We are calling on all members of the medical community to use their voice and demand action of the U.S. senators who are also physicians: Roger Marshall (KS), Bill Cassidy (LA), Rand Paul (KY), and John Barrasso (WY).

We will be sending an open letter and the results of this petition to these four senators, asking that they meet with our physician leader, Dr. Emily Lieberman, on September 21, 2022. Our hope is that these senators will understand that their peers and colleagues of the healthcare community are demanding that they take action.
