The Berkeley county school district dress code is very outdated, unrealistic, and poorly enforced amongst male and female students.Female students are not only of display and embarrassed for expressing them selves through clothing we are also slut shamed and bluntly told by teachers we are a distraction.it’s new times and we need new policies! We need change and we need it now.I can’t even count the amount of hours of missed instruction time because I had to have grown adults decide whether or not my body was appropriate for the learning environment.
